Christopher Barrows has been a registered Family Law Mediator in Indiana since 2005. Chris is a Certified Family Law Specialist as Certified by the Family Law Certification Board. He has practiced as a family law attorney for over fifteen years. Chris continues his legal practice separately at Barrows Legal Group LLC. Chris is a graduate of Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana, and Indiana University Law School – Indianapolis.

Chris serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and is the President of the Indiana chapter. He is the Chair for the Executive Committee of Family Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.

In 2009 through 2012, Chris was selected as an Indiana Rising Star as presented in SuperLawyers magazine, and Indianapolis Monthly magazine. He has also testified in front of the Indiana General Assembly sub-committees on matters relating to joint legal custody in paternity cases, and parent coordination in Indiana.

Chris also has regular guest speaking engagements on the topic of divorce, mediation, parent coordination, estate planning considerations and family law in general.

He and his wife, Misty, are the proud parents of three children. Chris and his group understand the parenting of special needs children and consideration during family disputes.
